Repeatedly over-seeding with premium grass seed will shift the balance towards a lawn full of grass. Keeping the lawn thick will help prevent the establishment and spread of weeds, and will also help deter grub infestations.

Adding a core aeration will relieve soil compaction, improving air and water penetration to the root zone. Overly compacted soils tend to grow weeds with large taproots (e.g. dandelions) and are less able to absorb water when it rains.

A soil plus compost top-dressing adds vital organic matter, nutrients and minerals in the form perfected by nature. This is the best way to improve soil quality, leading to more extensive grass root systems and enhanced nutrient uptake. The effects of annual top-dressings will compound as the fertile topsoil layer builds.

By repeatedly adding premium grass seed, top-dressing to build soil quality, fertilizing to supply essential macro- and micro-nutrients, and aerating to improve soil structure, we will create a thick, healthy lawn for your family to enjoy, which can naturally choke out many weeds!
Any of our pesticide free lawn programs can become an organic program by substituting organic fertilizer for traditional fertilizer.
Organic granular fertilizers come from natural sources such as composted plant matter or composted animal manure. They release nutrients slowly for long lasting results, but might not produce as immediate of greening effect compared to traditional fertilizers. Organic fertilizers naturally contain micro-nutrients (we add these to our traditional fertilizer), which support plant health and improve soil fertility.

Regular health inspections will catch insect & disease problems in their early stages when treatments can be most effective. Control of many insect infestations (e.g. aphids, caterpillars) can be achieved with our high pressure organic soap spray.
